The ‘Centre for Soft & Biological Matter’ at IIT Madras is inviting applications for postdoctoral positions in the field of soft matter experimentation. The successful candidates will be involved in designing and conducting experiments, primarily focusing on image processing and analysis to understand applications in particle science and medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and design experimental setups.
- Perform image processing and analysis.
- Collaborate with multiple research groups within and outside the centre.
Qualifications:
- PhD in a relevant field (candidates who have submitted their thesis can also apply).
- Strong background in synthesis and experimental characterization of new materials and particles.
Remuneration:
- ₹50,000 – ₹70,000 per month, depending on experience.
Duration:
- Initially for 1 year, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
